cooking 101: BBQ Chicken Strips

  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp Demerara sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
1. In a bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar, sugar and olive oil.
2. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Cut a few slashes into the meat and turn it in the marinade until well coated. Marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
4. Grill the chicken breast fillets until golden brown and just cooked enough. Do not overcook.
5. Optionally, serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
