[J&K] I do, I do, I DO!

The most important part of our wedding was probably coming in front of God and our
families and friends to say our vows.

Because we were traditional, we decided not to have a "first-look" so we can fully capture the feeling of seeing each other for the first time while I was walking down the aisle. Plus I was also teasing J I would wow him when I'd walk down, he'd be so moved into tears! This didn't happen; he was just a bit of teary-eyed, trying to contain himself with the bridesmaids teasing him. :D

Everything happened so fast - the walk down the aisle, honoring our parents and the "traditional" hand-over, soon we were face-to-face and right in front of each other. THIS IS IT, the start of a new chapter and a lifetime together. :)

Then it was time to hear Ptr. Francis inspired message on a marriage with Christ, and then it was time to face each other and say our vows. That's when the waterworks began. ;)

His vows:
Kristie-Ann Camacho, Mytee, when we became friends, I'm sure that neither of us expected that we would end up together, none of our friends thought about it and it was the last thing on our minds.

Over the years, we became very close, became best-buds, but still, nothing was there, it was purely a platonic type of relationship, or so I thought. Little did I know, God's sovereign hand was working in my heart. The more we spent time together, the more I realized that I was very happy. There you were, in your fashionista get-up, with your "tanga" moments, and funny moves, and when I looked at you, I can't help but smile and be happy that I have you in my life.

I love you because you made me a better person. Your love made me know God more and love Him more. I love you because you have accepted me for who I am - my imperfections, my weirdness and my OCness. You make me laugh with little to no effort at all.

And because I love you, I promise to care for you, to cheer you up when you're down, to make you laugh when you're mad, and even dance with you when you do your silly dances :p

Mytee, I do believe that we are a match made in heaven. That God's Sovereign hand has been working from day 1 of our friendship, to this present day, and in the days to come. And by God's grace, we will continue to grow in love for God and love for each other.

Today, in the presence of God, family, and friends, I, James Stephen Lo, take you Kristie-Ann Camacho, to be my God-given wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part.

Her vows:
Myjames, today is so overwhelming. It's a reminder of God's faithfulness and goodness in our lives. It comes in many forms, including the outpouring of love from our families and friends who are with us today.

It's been a little past 5 years and here we are right now. Time have passed by so fast and you have made me happy ever since. You are my bestest friend, constant motivator and inspiration, confidante and my greatest love. Having you in my life is something I am infinitely grateful to the Lord for. You saw me at my best and my worst and yet, you still loved and accepted me for me. You know that you are a blessing and an answered prayer. You're the wonderful gift that God has been saving for me all along.

I feel so graciously blessed looking back how God's mighty hand has been at work with us. He has so wonderfully crafted and written our very own love story since the beginning and I could only prayerfully look forward for our future together that is yet to come.

As we close a chapter today and start a new one as husband and wife under Christ, I promise you that I, by God's grace will support you, serve you and submit myself to you. I will love you unconditionally and treasure the gift that you are each and every day. I will continue to grow and walk with you in faith, trusting God's will in own lives. I will stand by you through the good times and the bad. I will cherish our union til the very end.

I love you.

And what a fine and beautiful day it was.
